1930's Aluminium Airship chairs
Newly upholstered in a charcoal grey Irish linen here we have a fantastic pair of 1930’s armchairs.
Believed to have originated from an airship these chairs were completely constructed of aluminium to keep weight down to a minimum. The inner frame of the upholstered section is also aluminium.
A very rare and unusual pair of chairs. The aluminium has been stripped ,polished and given a protective layer of laquer.
