A fully working example of this Addressograph graphotype machine, model 6412 . Dating from 1909 and made in Cleveland, Ohio this is a fabulous object. Also known as the “Dog Tag Machine”. The American military used this machine during the second world war to press dog tags. The Graphotype allows you to press letters and numbers into strips of aluminium to make labels.miscellaneous
