early butterfly chart
A fantastic old chart with beautiful illustrations of butterflies.
This is from around 1870 and printed on board, lovely large original print.
These fantastic items have slight wear in places but nothing that distracts from the stunning illustrations . They were probably used as teaching aids in a university class room.
ink stamp in the top corner and pen and ink notes on the reverse.
