Vintage factory lamp
This is an old industrial work lamp designed to screw on to a machine, bench or a wall; it is currently mounted onto a wooden base to make it more portable. It has articulated arms which are steel, and a cast iron and steel base which it swivels from; this also houses the on/off switch.
The shade is vitreous enamel and has a brass bulb holder, it is adjustable sideways as well as up and down. It is in very good condition and proper working order having been recently rewired and earthed. Inevitably there are minor blemishes commensurate with it’s age and use but nothing that detracts from the overall look (apart from a large recent ding to the side of the shade). Shade diameter 13cm, and each arm is 26cm long (approx.)
